Gyokuro is the highest grade Japanese green tea. Chef Akane Eno from Ichigo Ichie, Singapore’s only high end Japanese restaurant helmed by a female chef, will guide us in understanding gyokuro. Enjoy this unique opportunity to drink green tea served the proper way with teaware from Chef Akane's personal collection. Compare different types of gyokuro, learn how tea leaves can be eaten, enjoy a Japanese sweet, and play a price comparison game. This event will be the first in a new series - Japan Uncovered - focused on introducing the intricacies of Japanese culture to the Columbia community.
The event will take place in the CBD area. Spaces are limited due to Covid restrictions and will be offered first-come first-serve.
