On Saturday, September 5, 2020, the Columbia University Alumni Club of Singapore held its annual general meeting (AGM) and board elections. Due to restrictions on large social gatherings in Singapore, the AGM was held virtually on Zoom, where more than 30 participants tuned in.
During the pandemic and this new reality, the board has been creatively engaging alums in Singapore virtually with various activities across Zoom. These include series of 'Columbia Career Conversations', 'Chef’s in the House' cooking sessions, panel discussions, wine and cocktail tastings, and trivia nights. Over the coming months, CAA Singapore board will continue to provide our alumni community with fun and safe activities and experiences.
Although this year’s AGM took place virtually, attendance was strong and we welcomed alumni across all years. During the AGM, members elected a new board for 2020-2021.
