As we seek to understand the ramifications of the collision between trade and populism, the Columbia Alumni Association of Singapore is excited to host a talk by Steven Okun, former Clinton Administration official, frequent commentator on US politics and trade on CNBC and Channel NewsAsia, and Senior Advisor to McLarty Associates, on "Trade in the Era of Trump". Steve will share his insights on how we got here, recent trade policy actions, the potential economic consequences, US business reaction in Asia, and the outlook for the US political landscape with the upcoming midterm elections.

The presentation will be followed by dinner at the Tanglin Club.
