The Weatherhead Institute, CAA Singapore, and World Scientific Publishing are co-hosting a discussion on the launch of "As Equals" by author Daryl Yeap, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Professor Lien-Hang Nguyen. The discussion will feature insights from Professor John Phan, Columbia alumnus Bilahari Kausikan, and Professor Chien Wen Kung, focusing on the increasing importance of Southeast Asia on the world stage. The panel will explore parallels between the region's current geopolitical standing and its historical role as a focal point of Cold War violence in the 20th century.
