Organized by the Columbia Alumni Association of Singapore, more than 150 alumni from Columbia and Oxbridge attended the first mixer of year held at the historic and newly renovated Warehouse Hotel.

Alumni were treated to complimentary Kueh Pie Tee from the 4.5 star rated restaurant PO which serves classic Singaporean dishes with a modern twist. Once the evening got underway, alumni enjoyed specialty cocktail drinks while networking and connecting with new people.

Columbia's Board Member and Social-Chair, BeiXian 'BX' Tang (SEAS'08) shared, "This was our first mixer of the year and first time collaborating with the Oxbridge Alumni Club of Singapore and it proved to be a great partnership; we couldn't have asked for a better venue and turnout!"

The Warehouse Hotel was built in 1895 along the Singapore River as part of the Straits of Malacca Trade route. At the time, the area was a hotbed of secret societies, underground activity, and liquor distilleries. Today, while much of that history has disappeared, The Warehouse Hotel has been meticulously restored as a modern 37-room boutique hotel, focusing on heritage and local culture.
