Beertopia was founded by Jonathan So (SEAS '04) in 2012, after moving to Hong Kong and noticing a lack of craft beer events in the city.

It has become the city's largest beer festival, and regularly features over 500 different beers from around the world, restaurants, live bands and DJs, beer games, and other entertainment.
Beertopia takes place annually in Hong Kong, having taken place in both the West Kowloon Cultural District and the Central Harbourfront.
