Alumni Representative Committee (ARC) Information Session

Do you really love Columbia and want to spread the love? Has Columbia made a huge impact on your life? Would you like to help some young people make important life choices? Do you want to become more involved with local Columbia community?

The Alumni Representative Committee (ARC) is the committee that interviews applicants to Columbia College and the School of Engineering and Applied Science. ARC, in conjunction with CAA Singapore, is hosting an orientation session for current ARC members as well as anyone interested in interviewing for Columbia, on Wednesday, Oct 25th. There will be food and drinks and maybe some fun and games, but more importantly, you will get to meet other alumni interviewers who will share some of their war stories.

In recent years, Columbia Admissions has been receptive to having alumni from the graduate programs at Columbia participate as interviewers. The only caveat is that you will no longer be able to interview for your undergraduate institution. Alumni from the School of General Studies are unfortunately not able to interview for ARC because the school has a separate admissions process.

Even if you are not ready to change someone’s life forever, we welcome you to come by to enjoy some good company and conversation.
